Be Your Own Reason Why
My name is Haylee Brown, owner, photographer, and person! Guess what? I am my own reason why and I want to help you find your reason why. “Be Your Own Reason Why” is such an important tagline for me. Did you know that mental health challenges can take many forms? In the United States, almost half of adults (46.4%) will experience a mental illness during their lifetime. Along with almost half of those said adults, I suffer from mental health challenges but I am not going to let it be the reason why I hold myself back anymore. You see, there was a time where I thought that I would never be apart of the population that has to take a happy pill to live a “normal” life, but I do. I never thought that I would need to talk to a professional about my life and why I feel the way I feel, but I do. Living in the deep of my depression and anxiety hurt, still does, BUT “Be Your Own Reason Why” was a tagline that circled my existence day after day. I knew that it meant something but I had no idea what it would mean to me in the end. This was hope. This was a sign. This was my reason. I strive to grow a community and loving village within this business. I strive to be the reason why someone else discovers what “Be Your Own Reason Why” means to them. I strive to use my camera to capture those beautiful moments in time that will remind you what your “reason why” is what it is. Being young and a business owner will always have a particular standard in society but I am here to stand above the reason why a young female adult suffering from mental health challenges can't be successful and such an important impact on her community. I am here to crush the stigma around mental health challenges and to grow an environment that learns to love each other for each and every difference we have. Who wants to be a cookie cutter community anyways? I don't know about you but I couldn't live with 7.5+ billon other Haylees. Yes, I originally started my business under different names and reasons BUT I have found my true reason why photography is in my life and I plan to show the world what this “young lady” can do with a camera and a reason!
Oh, you need some updated family photos, maternity bump shots, or capture your babes sweet childhood? This is for you!
Most often that not, people set separate personal and professional goals, for me, my business is my personal life because it is my community. Nearly everything in life revolves around goals. Focussing on goals, they encompass all of our plans for the future, all of our hopes, dreams, and visions for what we want in life. Although we often fail to reach our goals because we’re all human and can be easily distracted, I plan to keep things simple and take it day by day. You are my goal. Getting to know you, capturing your lives, and building our community stronger and stronger.
Investing in helping others find their own reason why and capturing those glorious moments.
Partnering with other impactful businesses to collaborate and capture those beautiful moments in our clients lives together.
Building a community for mental health awareness and women empowerment.
Capturing more births, childhoods, relationships, marriages, businesses, adoptions, and so many more impactful moments in time.
